The term perilune refers to the point in a lunar orbit nearest the moon.
The music is an interpretation of a hypothetical research voyage around the moon by an international team of astronomers, aerospace engineers, and chemists.
Tracking its path over several days, the speed decreased so that its perilune, or closest approach, would be reduced to about 45 kilometers above the surface of the moon. This distance would be the optimum altitude for collecting data. The original plan was to make an initial course around the moon at about 925 kilometers above the surface, allowing the space station to eventually move in an oval trajectory with a perilune of 45 kilometers. The material is the soundtrack to this mission.

Le terme périlune fait référence au point le plus proche d'une orbite lunaire.
Le morceau est l’interprétation d'un hypothétique expedition autour de la Lune par une équipe internationale d'astronomes, d'ingénieurs en aérospatiale et de chimistes.
En suivant sa trajectoire sur plusieurs jours, leur vitesse a diminué de sorte que sa périlune, ou ellipse la plus proche, soit réduite à environ 45 kilomètres au-dessus de la surface de la Lune. Cette distance serait l'altitude optimale pour la collecte des données. Le plan initial était de faire un parcours autour de la Lune à environ 925 kilomètres au-dessus de la surface, permettant à la station spatiale de se déplacer éventuellement sur une trajectoire ovale avec un périlune de 45 kilomètres. Ce matériel est la bande sonore de cette mission.
