Contingent of Outlying Territory Features

The community and support behind DIY culture has always influenced and motivated me to make things on my own. Even though, as I operate as a solo artist, I still thrive on collaboration with others. The 2017 Ran Music release, ‘Contingent of Outlying Territory’ , has been no different with careful touch of mixing engineer, Shen Lijia. The release continues to evolve with a new selected features release including artists such as J-Fever, Diva Li, TTechmak and Major. In addition to the music, I also incorporated video into the release. I’m proud to accompany two new music videos from this release.

来自美国新奥尔良的电子音乐人thruoutin去年在 Ran Music 发行了个人 EP《Contingent of Outlying Territory》，这张融合了Footwork, 田野录音，UK Bass 等多种音乐风格元素的 EP 在2017年获得了数个国内独立音乐媒体的好评，以及众多音乐人的支持；一年后的今天，我们将 thruoutin的朋友们: 浪漫的说唱歌手小老虎（aka JFever), 杰出的爵士小号手Toby Mak (aka TTechmak), 才貌双全的Techno女制作人Diva Li, 脑洞十足的 Beats Maker Major，以及Jeff Yiu, William Griffith 和 Graeme Nicol 三位现居北京的独立视频导演，为这张EP精心制作的 Remix、Feature、MV 汇聚成合辑，由 Ran Music 为大家呈现。
